A cyber-security researcher has hacked Elon Musk's SpaceX-operated satellite-based internet infrastructure, Starlink.

Starlink user terminals or satellite dishes installed in homes and buildings had been compromised.

At the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas, this cyber-researcher successfully hacked the Starlink internet infrastructure.

He utilised a handmade circuit board, or modchip, that cost him about $25 to create.
